The Problem
Women are often pushed into competition for limited opportunities and recognition, fostering a culture of rivalry that hinders collaboration and reinforces barriers preventing collective advancement.
One of the biggest challenges women face in the workplace is the concept of "One Seat At The Table," where competition for limited opportunities and recognition often fosters rivalry rather than collaboration. Research shows that women are often underrepresented in leadership positions, with only 29% of senior management roles held by women globally. Additionally, studies have found that women are less likely to have mentors or sponsors compared to their male counterparts, which hinders their professional growth and advancement.

Mentorship Efficacy
67% of women reporting that having a mentor is crucial for career advancement (Whitlock, 2024).
Mentees are five times more likely to be promoted compared to those without a mentor (Whitlock, 2024).
Mentorship has been found to stimulate the release of oxytocin and dopamine, promoting trust, connection, and motivation (Ontai, 2019).
